A calm, compassionate and evidence-based approach to your mental health and wellbeing.
I'm an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with more than twenty years' experience working in public mental health, general medicine, community teams, rehabilitation centres and counselling services.
Prior to private practice, I advised the Victorian Department of Health on mental health policy. At the Royal Melbourne Hospital, I held teaching roles and worked with Psychiatrists in multidisciplinary services, including the Crisis Assessment (CATT) and Substance Use and Mental Illness Treatment teams.
Mental health and wellbeing is shaped by many interconnected factors. I utilise the Biopsychosocial model and other person-in-environment perspectives, and I’m passionate about the Social Determinants of Health and raising awareness about the causes and consequences of stigma.
I believe that with the right support and strategies, people can improve their day-to-day functioning and develop more clarity, optimism and confidence about their circumstances and their future.
Psychology and Wellbeing Services
Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply want to invest in your mental health and wellbeing, my practice has a place for you.
I work with adults, including older adults, and adolescents experiencing diverse psychological and wellbeing concerns. These can include relationship difficulties, trauma and neglect, life transitions, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) use and addictions. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of diagnoses including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, Bipolar and Schizophrenia.
I provide relationship counselling for couples, separated parents, families and groups. I also work with clients who choose Polyamory, Consensual Non-Monogamy and other relationship arrangements.
My practice is safe and welcoming for everyone, including anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and First Nations people.
Appointments are available in-person in Pascoe Vale and via telehealth, with flexible appointment times, including evenings and Saturdays.
I also provide an outreach service to aged care and rehabilitation facilities.
