Fees and Rebates

Fees

  • A standard 50 minute appointment is $230 ($142.75 after the Medicare rebate is applied)

  • All after-hours appointments (before 9:00 am or after 5:00 pm on weekdays, and all weekend) incur a $25 surcharge

  • Longer appointments are available, with additional time charged on a pro rata basis in 25-minute increments

If you are on a low income or hold a Health Care Card, please feel free to contact me to discuss negotiated fee options. I am committed to making support accessible. 

Medicare rebates 

Individual clients may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.  

The Medicare rebate is $87.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please note that only one session per day is eligible for a rebate, regardless of the appointment length.
 

Payment terms 

  • Card payment is preferred (the client management system Halaxy applies a processing fee of $1 + 1.9%) 

  • When you provide card details via the secure intake form, payment is automatically processed at the time of your appointment 

  • Medicare rebates are automatically deposited into your nominated Medicare bank account 

  • If you have private health insurance that covers my services, please submit your invoices directly to your insurer
      

Rescheduling and cancellations 

Please advise me as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. The following fees apply: 

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: no fee 

  • 48 - 12 hours’ notice: $100  

  • Less than 12 hours’ notice: full session fee  

Please note that Medicare does not provide rebates for cancelled or missed appointments.
